Wanttopay virtual cards work just like regular bank cards — they're simply digital. There's no physical card to carry. Use them online by entering your card details, or add them to Apple Pay or Google Pay for offline payments.
The virtual card works wherever online card payments are accepted. The primary currency is USD. Payments in other currencies are available, except for those listed in the Terms of Use. For more details on how to pay with a virtual card, check our guides.
The validity period depends on the card you choose. Prepaid and Easy — 12 monthsSmart (with Apple Pay & Google Pay) — 36 months. Pro (with Apple Pay, Google Pay & Samsung Pay) — 24 months.
Please note: Prepaid cards can be used for 60 days after they're issued. After that, the card is automatically closed and any remaining balance is refunded. If you need a card for longer-term use, we recommend choosing Easy or Smart.
Once your card reaches its expiration date, it will be automatically closed, along with any remaining balance.
Verification is a standard requirement from the issuing bank. Document checks are handled by Sumsub — an identity verification platform trusted by Revolut, Binance, and hundreds of other fintech companies.
Wanttopay does not store or access copies of your documents — everything is sent directly to Sumsub over an encrypted channel.
